Overview
The unit comprises all necessary equipment to meet the requirements of the patients presenting to emergency medicine department and it enables intervention for 5 patients simultaneously. The unit is on the same floor with imaging department and laboratories and has all the means to transfer patients to the intensive care unit and the operating theatre easily.
Our aim is to help the patients presenting to emergency medicine department within the shortest time possible and transfer the patients to units where advanced procedures can be performed without wasting time at emergency medicine department. It is a known fact that early management increases the chance to survive for patients with heart diseases. The most important stage is to transfer the patients to the hospital as soon as possible.
Early intervention minimize the damage and injury in three fourths of patients. Therefore, our fully equipped ambulances serve our population since the first day of our foundation. Thus, cardiac catheterization, angiography, balloon angioplasty and stent implantation are performed as soon as after patients are quickly transferred to our hospital and they are operated on promptly, if required.
